We do not work for private companies to ensure that we best represent local governments and ratepayers, and do not have the appearance of any conflicts of interest.

Jeanette Jurgensen launched Bin There Consulting in 2021 after 14 years of working in solid waste for a municipal government. Jeanette started this consulting firm to provide the assistance to other solid waste staff that she wishes would have been available when she was working in government. Jeanette’s experience provides a deep understanding of the unique expectations and needs of municipal staff related to their solid waste collection contract.
Jeanette acquired Epicenter Services in 2023 after working with the founder for two years. This cross-over provided an in-depth knowledge on the history and wide range of options available in solid waste collection contract procurements and negotiations. The first-hand knowledge acquired through contract management and technical assistance provided through Bin There Consulting provides a constant feedback loop on ways to better write new contracts.
Bin There Consulting is a certified Women Business Enterprise through Washington State OMWBE, and both firms are registered on the Washington State MRSC roster and certified as a King County Small Contract and Supplier.
